Welcome to my AGC page!
My main passions are represented by my two service-oriented companies: Our Vision Recycling and Global Entrepreneurial Tools, LLC. The missions of both are to allow entrepreneurs to have greater success (since not everyone is meant to work for someone else) by reducing the “waste” in their lives- wasted electronics that eat up office space, money & time spent getting rid of them, AND by training them on how to reduce “wasted” networking time (when you’re not being effective) and “recycle” what’s working WELL!
My recycling company (OurVisionRecycling.com) does FREE pickup, only of electronics (especially computer-related items), for businesses. THIS is the business that I represent at my AGC pod. The next one, mentioned below, is mentioned during AGC Events also. Somewhat related to our recycling company is the fact that I am a trained Community Recycling Ambassador for Hennepin County (it used to be called MR/C…Master Recycler and Composter). I’d love to get more companies noticed for their desire to reduce plastic waste! (Check for that in July… the counties tend to do the “challenges” twice a year. July is the second round).
My advanced networking education company, Global Entrepreneurial Tools (get-lkj.com), educates sales reps who are at expos/trade shows, or smaller community events, in Spanish and English. It also offers fractional representation for owners of small businesses (like I’m currently doing that for RedLadder, a free fundraising tool for charitable organizations. Ask me for a warm intro!) A person can‘t be everywhere at the same time! I have a very holistic approach to marketing (and networking is a huge aspect of marketing!) So great marketing solutions are hatching all the time at GET, LLC.
Lastly, I also do German tutoring, and can do Spanish as well as Hungarian. Being a first generation American, I picked up a few languages along the way ;-). I also have a creative outlet that I’m hoping to monetize: The LILI Channel on YouTube! Thelilichannel.tv is a place to get YOUR company a free mention if you get your FREE subscription!
All of these activities are made possible by my ADHD brain!
Our Vision Recycling: Recycling electronics for the past 13+ years. Veteran owned (our business partner is a Navy veteran. I’m the child of a veteran). My husband and I joined our friend (who started the company) a year ago. I work with my husband and one other person in a skinny section of a warehouse in Roseville, MN. We are NOT licensed to do hazardous waste pickup. Hence, no TVs and broken monitors. We do FREE pickup of computer-related items and metals. No appliances. We’re licensed, bonded, etc but we are NOT a moving company so we will NOT go upstairs to bring things down. We can give you our cart for YOU to do that and we will whisk items away in our van, and will happily provide you with documents of destruction if needed. We donate, part out, upgrade electronics and scrap items. We have fewer business expenses so we pass on the savings to YOU.
Don’t violate your contracts to hire us- we’re your option when the contracts expire. If you already have someone giving you free service, make sure they are LICENSED. Otherwise, you’ll both get in trouble. If you just need to upgrade your computer slightly (new memory or whatever) you can contact my husband and see if he can help you out. Referral partners, those who want a fundraising tool, people who need extra training when Travis Sims doesn’t have time for it, and IT people. I always have an ear open for small companies that need IT help. I may not understand half the terms they use but I know how to make a connection ;-)
I know I will meet more people if I have my social media links, but I haven’t figured that part out yet!
A company that has at least five employees with lots of computers/ phones/cords/hard drives etc… enough to fill a van, for greatest efficiency. That might be someone who’s upgrading, selling their biz, a manufacturer, tech company, etc. ALSO, you can give me your old laptops etc in a box at a POD meeting. I’m happy to meet you at your POD as well. So we don’t only serve companies that are 5+ strong- we love to serve solopreneurs too! We can do pickup events when it’s warmer out.
