My name is Jen Mein. Moxxim grew out of my passion for designing and hosting meaningful engagements - meetings, group retreats, large events, or workshops. I design engagements with intentional thinking about the context and content, the participatory processes, and the overall experience. I design for the tangible outcomes as well as the intangibles like ensuring all feel seen, heard, and valued. I design with the desire to create a sense of creative flow, the kind that taps energy and also gives energy. I design with the whole person in mind, honoring lived experience and social identities, mindful of power and privilege. I design with confluence, understanding where a pivotal event fits within the story of what came before and what comes after. I design knowing that we are entering a chaordic space, where chaos and order exist together and magic happens by providing just enough structure so unknown and unpredictable nuggets of wisdom have space to emerge. I host and facilitate with humility, honoring and bearing witness to the brilliance of those who gather. It is a privilege and an honor to create space for and share space with empowered people.
You have identified a need. How you will meet that need is uncertain, but you know it will take more than you, your team, your organization, or your sector to address it. You are ready to extend a sincere invitation to others to be part of the conversation and the solution. I can partner with you as an experience designer, facilitator, Zoom tech host, and a harvester of insights.
Moxxim is here to partner with you to host meaningful, impactful experiences that welcome people to show up fully, leverage collective wisdom, and fuel wiser action. We also work with you to build your personal and organizational capacity to lead in engaging, participatory ways.
I look forward to connecting with other solopreneurs to chat about practices and tools to manage all the things! I have an affinity with coaches, leadership development consultants, and trainers and often partner up with them on projects.
A great referral for me would be someone who is interested in convening a group of people for a planning retreat or learning experience and they want to foster deeper connection, effective collaboration, or the co-creation of solutions. Most of my experience is working with clients in higher education, non-profits, and public agencies.
