From Broken to Bold: How Stories Helped Me Find My Voice, Heal, and Transform Lives
Growing up in an abusive household, I built walls of limiting beliefs around myself, believing I was destined for a small and silent life. But through the power of reading and writing, I began to discover who I truly wanted to be. Stories became my refuge, my guide, and ultimately, my voice. It wasnt an easy journey, but each hardship I faced shaped me into the person I am today.
In this talk, Ill share how I found the courage to break free from my past, create my own company, and use my passion for storytelling to touch and transform lives. By sharing my story, my goal is to inspire others to embrace their own, to connect, heal, and become their best selves. This is more than a speech; its a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and the power of stories to heal, unite, and ignite personal growth.

Overcoming Abuse: Growing up in an abusive household with an addict mother taught me how limiting beliefs can trap us, but also how resilience begins to form.

Speaker Bio: I am a first-generation college graduate who has overcome incredible challenges, including an abusive childhood, homelessness, and domestic violence. These experiences shaped me into the person I am today and inspired me to create Executive Author House, a company built on my deep belief in the transformative power of stories.
Through Executive Author House, I help individuals share their unique experiences, fostering connections and understanding on a deeply human level. I believe that storytelling is a universal language that has the power to inspire, heal, and unite us all.
My journey has taught me the strength it takes to rise above adversity and the profound impact stories can have on our lives. I am passionate about empowering others to find their voices, tell their stories, and create meaningful changeone connection at a time.
