My name is Courtney Kanduth, and I am extremely excited to become a member of AGC. I grew up in a small town in Minnesota and graduated college earning my bachelor’s degree in Marketing, a Global Business Minor, and a Professional Sales Specialization Certificate. I now work at Target full time as an Executive Team Lead of Specialty Sales and am pursuing my Master of Business Administration at the same time. I plan to graduate in March and will see where life takes me from there.
Aside from school and work, my life revolves around my family consisting of my two sisters, mom, dad, and our two springer spaniels, as well as my friends from both my hometown and around the globe. I enjoy being outdoors as much as possible in the summer going to the cabin or just sitting outside and reading, while in the winter I watch movies and go snowmobiling. Overall, I try to stay busy and fill my life with multiple adventures.
The reason I chose to join AGC was so that I could put myself back out there and expand my networking group. I believe that the world has so much to offer and it starts by understanding other cultures, beliefs, and personalities. Too many times when people graduate they settle down and stop networking. I don't want to be that person. I want to continue connecting with others and enjoying life outside of my hometown. AGC allows me to do this and for that I am grateful. If you are in the same boat, feel free to reach out and we can chat. You never know what will come of it.
Right now, I am in the job-hunting stage looking for positions that better fit my personality. I am looking for a management position that allows me to travel either on my own or with the company, while also enabling me to help my team grow and develop as one. I learn quickly and strive to push myself daily to not only motivate me but my team as well. The perfect position for me will be something that permits me to do all of these things while also making a work-life balance possible.
